The free Square Dashboard app works in sync with Square Point of Sale and lets you view your live sales data in seconds. You can access powerful analytics, and easy tools to help you track and improve your business.
As we mentioned above, Square is comprised of a point of sale app, which is available for free in the app store, and the Square card reader. The Square card reader is what comes to mind when most people think about Square. It’s the small, white square that plugs into the headphone jack of your device. There are multiple versions of the Square card reader that are now available: the traditional magnetic stripe card reader, an EMV chip and magnetic stripe card reader, or an additional NFC payment reader (for tap and go payments like Apple Pay). All of these options are available from Square’s website.
The TSP143UII ECO thermal receipt printer is directly supported in Square Stand and is both fast and reliable. This receipt printer can print as many as 30 six inch receipts per minute. There is no need to download drivers or utilities – they’re all included in the box. The futurePRNT Receipt Redisign Software allows you to customize and brand receipts – to help you keep customers coming back time and time again with professional graphics (logos, coupons, and merge images), word-triggered advertising, and more! It is also included on installation CD and is free and simple to use. In fact, the TSP143UII ECO thermal receipt printer comes complete with everything you need including: printer, power supply, USB cable, wall bracket – even a sample (partial) roll of thermal paper to get you started.

We’ve already had a number of posts about Square, the new mobile payment platform launched by Twitter creator Jack Dorsey today, but we’re going to keep posting on it, because it’s just that good. Most of the earlier stories covering the launch of Square included a screenshot of an example receipt that is displayed on Square’s site right now. The actual receipt doesn’t quite look like that, but it’s close.
I have been using my Square with an IPhone since May. I have completed 72 transactions, $516 in revenue and $14.26 in fees to Square. Money has been deposited in my account in no more than 2 days. It’s been worth the effort and fees.
Really great product. I would recommend this product to anyone that uses this size of spool. We switched over from other companies as this was a cheaper price. Saving money on things like this makes a difference over the long period. You would be surprised what a few dollars a case translates to over the course of a year.

The Ethernet printers compatible with Square Point of Sale are thermal printers. They require heat-sensitive paper and won’t work with non-thermal receipt paper. These types of printers aren’t ideal for kitchens or high-temperature working areas.
