The good thing about the Logi BASE is there won’t be any pesky cables jutting out of the side of your iPad Pro while it’s in use, although the Smart Connector means the iPad will have to stay in landscape mode. The Logi BASE isn’t for ever POS system, but it’s perfect for a small business that needs to make use of its iPad for other tasks. You can easily drop the iPad into the Logi BASE when it’s time to process a transaction and lift it away again when you need to use it elsewhere.
Our Stands can nicely transform your existing iPad to a full-on POS system, and we mean that in many ways. As a iPad POS Stand, not only does it provide the essential features to turn your iPad into a full-fledged retail-centric system, it also provides mobility by allowing you to detach the Jacket from the Stand. This gives you the flexibility of different levels of interaction in which you can provide to your customers.
On top of iPad’s platform, you need a reliable POS app to run. The most reliable iPad POS app will be built from the ground up to be stable and not buggy. The last thing you need is to have crashes and glitches holding you back when you’re in the middle of a rush. Losing an order? Glitchy buttons? Freezing and crashing? You can’t afford to deal with those kinds of problems even if the app is “free” because the truth is that using a poorly designed app is going to cost you money!
You need the most reliable mobile POS for food trucks because you’ve got so much out on the line. You never know when business will boom and you could be serving 200 people in an hour, so you need to have a fast, reliable POS that’s easy to use and take payment with.
This thing works awesome, and there are tons of other reviews, so read those for more info. Only problem we have had is the stand has a hard time connecting to chip reader occasionally. When you open the program for the first time, there is like a 10% chance it won’t connect to chip reader. You have to quit app and restart. Gets old.
Easy-to-use interface and touchscreen graphics make it easy to keep lines moving and train new employees—crucial for the busy season and crunch times like championship games and other special events when a little extra help is necessary.

This is a business app and not a toy as one reviewer was wondering. If you have a mobile business or use your ipad as a register, you can buy a swiper for credit cards and attach it. It can I believe also be hooked up to a receipt printer as well. It will email the receipt to your customer. I enjoyed it, it can be extremely valuable for those who need to give receipts and is a good tool for keeping track of inventory. Hope this helps!
Like all of the company’s POS apps, the Revel Food Truck POS runs on a 4G iPad, offering greater mobility. Your iPad can stand alone or be supplemented with traditional hardware printers and card swipes. And because social media has become a food trucker’s most valuable tool, Revel’s POS system comes with a built-in Twitter integration so you can tweet your location to your hungry followers and monitor feeds directly from your POS. The software also includes employee management and inventory tracking features, which – if not strictly necessary to run a food truck – provide information and analytics that helps you do business more intelligently. Conveniently, Revel allows you to adjust taxes based on location and generate different tax groups (organized by state/region) and set them up to alter as you travel.

You could set up an easy-to-navigate form for all your leads to complete during open houses, events, and in other customer-facing environments. You can then use all of this critical data for targeted follow-ups – and improve your conversion rate.
But that’s not all, imagine working the food trailer and seeing orders appear on an iPad mounted inside. Meanwhile, another person stands outside greeting customers and taking orders! Wow, that’s a new kind of food truck experience. If you’d like to serve customers better and faster, you can send someone out front to take the orders and send orders wirelessly into the food truck for preparation. Because it’s a mobile POS, orders entered on one iPad appear on other devices – including kitchen displays. The best mobile iPad point of sale for food trucks uses new technology, wifi, cellular data and the cloud to enhance engagement with your customers, driving up sales! Stepping out of the truck and meeting your customers face-to-face creates a memorable experience that increases customer loyalty.

With limited storage space, you’re not able to “stock up” like you would in a brick-and-mortar restaurant or larger location. You can’t buy at a bulk rate discount, and unless you plan well you’ll have to keep going out to resupply when you’re busy.
Everybody wants to get a cut of the action, even the city. With vending permits, parking permits and the like. And every city and county have their own rules and taxes. Your food truck POS needs to have a flexible taxes interface that is easy to adjust and configure depending on where you are and what taxes apply to what you’re selling.
The tablet kiosk is compatible with most popular modern tablets, including iPads, Samsung Galaxy Tabs, and Microsoft Surface tablets. Simply purchase the appropriate face plate for your tablet. You can replace the face plate if you switch to a new type of tablet.
Get a clear view of any app or website, thanks to this tablet enclosure’s easy rotation between portrait and landscape modes. The enclosure also flips back and forth, allowing both your customers and your employees behind the counter to use the tablet with ease.

Fixed a bug in the “Cancel” transaction function. Now the last set of HotKeys displayed are removed properly, clearing the screen for the next transaction. Prior to the fix, selecting an old HotKey, without first selecting a new Category, would cause the next transaction to not total and the Total display would remain at $0.00.
iPad sales certainly have Apple CEO Tim Cook smiling. But even with 225 million units sold, the tech giant isn t resting on its laurels. When the iPad Air hit the market in 2013, its slender design and…
As part of the agreement to allow you to set up your mobile food truck restaurant, the venue will often charge fees, and take a percent of sales. As a pop-up food vendor, you’re at the mercy of the mall, food-truck event organizers or owners of the temporary space used. These higher site costs mean you need a food truck POS that helps you make the most of your time on-site, to see a return on your investment.

With such a huge product line, there are a bunch of great features available that must be considered before making a purchase. While all of these stands lock, some feature a single lock while some feature a double lock for added security. Many kiosks are also offered with a Kensington lock kit which will secure the entire stand to a table or other large fixture, making it difficult to move. Many holders feature optional home button covers that can be used to prevent tampering. When an anti theft iPad floor stand features a home button cover, it prevents users from leaving an app and accessing other programs to keep your Apple® device safe.
