Over the years we have expanded our selection of wholesale supplies and commercial equipment to include healthcare, educational, and hotel supplies.

Secondary receipts can be used to set up kitchen or barista printing – where you may only want to print some transactions, and even some products within some transactions, to each of their printers. You can have more than one secondary receipt printer, and each can have its own tag settings.

Square is not interested in using anyone but Star. And their attitude is that they frankly don’t care. I know, I have emails from them about it. If I was to guess, I would bet they have a deal with Star that funds their (insert pizza parties, to silk pockets). But lets be realistic. I mean it has to be something viable, right? The fact that Star uses the same print protocals that Epson uses has no bearing on an Epson receipt printer not working. It goes in the same line as Android devices can’t use bluetooth devices… although that new chip reader is bluetooth. It is a lack of customer service and they need to step up to the plate, or someone is going to come along and take their business away from them.

And of course, you can always reduce even more waste by asking your customers this: “Would you like a copy of your receipt?” If they answer, “no ,” then click Save no Receipt in MINDBODY. If they answer, “yes,” then click Save Print Receipt in MINDBODY.

That’s it. You should now be able to print from Square to your receipt printer. You can run a test print as well as enable/disable receipts/order tickets. Anyone within the business that uses Square (whether they use Android or iOS) should be able to print to that same printer. This avoids everyone having to purchase separate printers.

I suggest that Square makes available some advice or a list of cheaper Bluetooth printers that customers could consider.  Also, please make the printing of receipts from the Square customer web site easier.

The Square Stand is cool, it easily swivels around so that your customers can sign right on the screen and the software allows you to email them a personalized receipt, but we’re guessing that you’d like the option of handing your customers a physical receipt too. Just like the cash drawer, a USB receipt printer can get plugged right into the Square Stand USB hub and you’re printer will be operational in no time. Other setups often require that the cash drawer be hooked to the printer and the printer get plugged into the wireless router, not with the square stand and USB setup. And one more thing, if you’re worried about all that printer ink you’re going to need, don’t be. The USB printer that we’re talking about is a thermal printer; it doesn’t need ink. Seriously, no ink, just thermal paper which is easy to find at most office supply stores or can be ordered directly from us.

So in the scheme of “would we buy these printers?” it comes down to would we buy these instead of other Epson printers? I would probably recommend the T20II the most out of all the printers, I think for the price and features and warranty, the T20II is your best bet. If you are worried about space though, take a look at the M series, especially the M10, it’s very very small compared to older receipt printers. The styling on both of these are better than the T20II. If you’re looking for just pure performance, pure reliability, speed, the T88V is still your best bet. So that’s kind of the Epson overview of all their printers. Good printers, probably at this time not their best printers, but they are space saving options, and there are some unique pairing capabilities, so if you’re on a tablet or something like that and you don’t have a USB port, then take a look and see if a proper interface is available for you. POS printers often include display screens that allow customers to view items as employees scan or manually enter them for the transaction. This simple display helps purchasers verify pricing and review tax information at a glance, ensuring they receive the advertised prices.
