Revel (see our review) is an industry leader, known for its robust, feature-rich software and for developing specific apps for different facets of the food service industry, including pizza parlors, grocery stores, fro-yo shops, cafes, and – of course – food trucks. Revel is not the cheapest option available, but considering the number of valuable features offered, most people would agree that the software is priced fairly. Plans start at $119/month for one register (usually all that would be needed for a standard food truck). The second terminal, if you happen to need one, costs $70/month, and each additional one after that is $40/month. All plans include 24/7 live support plus unlimited data storage and security, unlimited software updates, and integration with QuickBooks. Revel doesn’t require you to sign a contract at any time, always a good sign, and they don’t charge cancellation fees, though you must give 30 days notice before discontinuing your subscription.
One of the biggest concerns for mobile food vendors pop-up restaurants and food stands is limited space. It’s perhaps the primary limitation that defines your restaurant. It’s also what makes running a food stand, or kiosk restaurant different than other food service businesses.
✔At the back is a lock and key that keeps the iPad secure inside the enclosure itself. Even though it is secure, the stand can still rotate so you can use either orientation that is required depending…

We end with the most expensive of our iPad POS stands, the simple but effective Flip from UK company, Bouncepad. Although not the prettiest design on the market, it is definitely very functional. The base is a prism design which hides the power adaptor and offers robustness and supreme stability.
An iPad POS with a stand and a simple USB credit card reader sets you up with a perfect place to do business. The intuitive layout and controls of an iPad tablet complement the simplicity of the USB credit card reader (or non USB). All it takes is one easy swipe through the credit card reader and you’re set – sale made, cha-ching!
Sometimes concessions need to branch out from the stand. Using hand-held mobile devices like the Clover™ Flex or Clover™ Mobile, you can bring all the versatility and robustness of Clover™ right into the stands.
With such a huge product line, there are a bunch of great features available that must be considered before making a purchase. While all of these stands lock, some feature a single lock while some feature a double lock for added security. Many kiosks are also offered with a Kensington lock kit which will secure the entire stand to a table or other large fixture, making it difficult to move. Many holders feature optional home button covers that can be used to prevent tampering. When an anti theft iPad floor stand features a home button cover, it prevents users from leaving an app and accessing other programs to keep your Apple® device safe.
To make things even more appealing we offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. If the software is not what you expected simply end the subscription before 30 days and get 100% of your first month’s payment returned.

The $162 Square Stand for iPad is pretty much the quintessential POS stand for iPad. It transforms an iPad into a full-featured point-of-sale device that accepts contactless payments, chip payments, and swipes. Customers can swipe their card using the stand itself or pay via chip and NFC using the included Square contactless and chip reader + Dock for Square Reader.
I ordered two of them- one of them is great however the second one the tension ball will not tighten enough to hold the I-pad in a usable position. I have changed out the mechanism but it is the same thing- indicating that it might be something in the weight of the I-pad or the ball. As I said I have another one that works perfectly and if both were like that I would give it five stars, however it is frustrating that it won’t in the correct position.
