Using cups to serve cupcakes at bake sales, etc and Ive never been able to get it to work because once you ge the cupcake in you cant get it out without a handful or icing and making it look gross. Check this out! Such a better idea!
I merged your post to this thread where another seller was also looking for a stand compatible with this iPad model. We don’t have a Square Stand that fits this model, but you can use a third party stand like the Heckler @Rest Universal Stand.
We understand security is always one of the top priorities for any business and this is no less for a POS system. As the Jacket is detachable from the iPad POS Stand, we design the system with a lock in between the two, and provide you the ability to allow only the authorized personnel to unlock it. We further strengthen the security by integrating Apple’s TouchID, a more seamless and intuitive way to unlock the Jacket from the iPad POS Stand.
What’s more, Clover™ POS systems provide access to the Clover™ App Market, featuring third-party software applications that can help with everything from marketing automation to accounting integration and employee management (more on that later).
After speaking at length with Apple employees while deciding on my own purchases, a lot of them agree that the newest thing isn’t always necessary dependent on what you’re using it for. I learned from them that sometimes a different model that’s missing a couple of bells and whistles isn’t even noticeable unless the work you’re doing on it calls for it. With that said, if you’re only planning to use the iPad for Square then the Pro 9.7″ should work perfectly for your needs. But of course, that’s completely up to you! 👍🏼
Using the free Square Point of Sale app, you can collect customer feedback and send digital receipts, calculate taxes and discounts, accept tips, create sales reports and employee logins, manage inventory, store customer cards, and track sales across payment types (magstrip cards, chip cards, NFC, cash, checks, and gift cards).
Alabama State University’s newly built stadium on Aug. 31 became the first such arena to use the iPad for concession sales, according to San Francisco-based point-of-sale tablet vendor Revel Systems Inc., which announced the installation on Monday. At the Hornets’ season-opening football game at home in Montgomery, more than 30 iPads handled 5,721 transactions, a record for the 26,500-seat stadium, Revel said. The iPad POS solution is being used only in fixed concession stands so far, but it could be used by roving concessionaires, the company says.
With limited storage space, you’re not able to “stock up” like you would in a brick-and-mortar restaurant or larger location. You can’t buy at a bulk rate discount, and unless you plan well you’ll have to keep going out to resupply when you’re busy.
So I like the stand and it would get a 5 star review, but I’m not exactly sure that I got a brand new item or not. The product came in the most amazing package, would remind you of Apple…but on the front of the stand frame around the ipad there are tiny scratches, it’s not smooth like you’d expect something brand new to be. Also the swipe part that actually runs the card through, the plastic is ill fitting. You can squeeze the back wall of this part and the plastic is bulging out at least 1mm or two and you can see it’s not sitting flush with the rest of the stand…The seams should be spot on like they are with the rest of the stand…but they’re not. Would love to exchange it and give another stand a try, maybe I just got a funky one?
