saved me a lot of money to replace my old setup. It was easy to install and everything was compatible. No problems at all setting it up. As other viewers said the bill slots are thinner than usual and the drawer has a lot of power/
Bluetooth printing is supported on Canon’s current Selphy range of portable printers (pictured right), for example, and some of its Pixma models, such as the MX320, but only via an optional plug-in card. Bluetooth support is also built-in to a limited number of HP models.
Connecting your printer with a USB cable limits mobility and access to your printer, not to mention the ugly cable running through your office. You can solve these problems by buying a wireless printer. Wireless printers come in two basic types: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Bluetooth is simple to set up and use but is more appropriate for small office spaces and a limited number of users while Wi-Fi takes a bit more to set up but can serve more users over a greater range.

I bought this as an upgrade to the square magstripe reader I had been using for a while. I was already familiar with the square app and functions, I just needed to integrate the new chip reader into my routine. I also purchased the charging dock based on reviews I read stating that the device turns off very often as a battery saving feature. The dock also seemed like it would improve overall ease of use.
Look for the bar code stickers on your printer. The Serial number on a Samsung printer can be used wherever an HP serial number is requested. Samsung printers refer to a ‘product number’ as a ‘model code’ designated with ‘M/C’, and typically start with ‘SL-_’.
Wireless printing is hugely convenient, because it makes it easy to share your printer with your computing kit. All the main printer manufacturers now include models in their ranges that have Wi-Fi onboard. Typically you’ll find wireless built-in to models that cost from £40 and upwards, so you don’t necessarily have to spend big to get this functionality. Wireless printing is supported on HP’s Deskjet 3000 (pictured, below right), which is priced at just £45, for example.
The price is right but the result is even better! they are reliable and they get the job done. I was going to buy some other ones in the $400 price tag, I think these work just as well, if not better. I love them!

As a bluetooth only device, it is a bit glitchy. If you are wanting to use it with a phone/tablet only as a standalone device, look elsewhere. The miura m010 reader works great for this, though is unfortunately not available on amazon.
The warranty is longer on the 88V so it, including the increased speed, the increased reliability there is a longer warranty on the T88V. High paced restaurants or retail establishments I’d still go with the 88V, I’d spend a little extra money and get the better printer but if you are on a tight budget and you’re looking for something more economical the T20II is a good solution, the speed has definitely improved over the original T20. The growing popularity of smart phones and tablets has meant that more and more of us want to be able to print directly from our mobile devices, rather than having to sync photos and files with a PC when we want to produce hard copies. Thankfully, printer manufacturers have cottoned on to this and now all the major brands have produced their own free smart phone and tablet printing apps.
Purchased this printer because it was cheaper than others by over $50. Mike helped set it up with the software when the software company would not help me. It works great – similar to Epson and Bixolon but a much better price. Tech support is great – quick response by email, phone and chat.
Another way to connect wirelessly to your printer is to connect it over the Internet. Web-based printers are accessible from nearly any device that has access to the Internet, provided that they are shared with those devices. A Web-based printer is accessible even when you are out of the office and your devices generally don’t need a special printer driver installed to access them. Web-based printers are a bit more expensive than other types and must, of course, have some access to the Internet, either over a wired (Ethernet) or wireless network.
I have a friend who runs a small shop and knew the Esky ES-CD01 Heavy Duty RJ-12 Key-Lock Cash Drawer would be perfect for his application. This drawer was a massive upgrade to the system he had been using. He had tried other drawers with different connections and designs, however this one was really the best.

Before you actually connect your printer to your computer’s USB port, make sure you’ve loaded the printer’s installation software from the CD-ROM that it came with. It will guide you through the setup process and ask you whether you want to use a USB or Wi-Fi connection. Simply choose the Wi-Fi option, select your network name and enter its password. The software will send this data to the printer’s memory and then install the drivers on your PC. Don’t forget that you’ll also have to install the printer drivers on all the PCs in your network that you want to be able to use for printing.
WIFI: WIFI is a local area wireless technology that allows an electronic device to exchange data or connect to the internet using 2.4 GHz UHF and 5 GHz SHF radio waves. This allows your device to connect wirelessly to a network.
This is one of the more common thermal receipt printers used with Square Payments. It generally costs less than $200. It come in white and black color. It has an auto-cutter to slice thermal receipt paper for you. It uses thermal paper so you never never need to fill it with ink. It is generally easy to maintain and add paper when you need it. So this is a printer that works well in a wide variety of environments. However, if you are in a kitchen or some area where the air is moist you may want to get an impact printer as thermal receipt paper does not work well in moist environments where there is little ventilation. Here is the user manual for the Star Micronics SM-S230i.
